Messaging enhanced by MessageMedia and Zapier integration
12 November 2018, Melbourne: Millions of users of some of the world’s most popular online platforms will now be able to automate workflows for a wide range of tasks including payment notifications, invoice receipts and calendar reminders, thanks to MessageMedia’s new integration with Zapier.
The partnership between Australia’s largest specialist business messaging provider, MessageMedia, and Zapier, a tool that connects apps, will help improve businesses’ efficiency and boost productivity by enabling information to move more easily between MessageMedia’s platform and hundreds of other applications in Zapier’s partner network, including Xero, Shopify, Google Calendar and Survey Monkey.
With the integration of Zapier, when new SMS replies are received on MessageMedia’s platform, workflows in other applications can be automatically triggered and a ‘Zap’ via Zapier will be set into motion to complete a pre-specified action. Likewise, new SMS messages can be sent with MessageMedia when certain trigger events occur in connected applications.
For example, Zapier can detect when a customer has abandoned their Shopify cart and trigger a SMS reminder via MessageMedia or send automated SMS reminder messages if it detects changes to a user’s Google calendar account.
Users can additionally utilise pre-made MessageMedia app integrations or build a custom workflow by creating an account on both platforms.
