The visitor (contact) on your website starts it off by clicking on something like:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<ul><li>Privacy consent (agreeing to cookies on a website)<\/li>\n<li>Views on a website page<\/li>\n<li>Behavioural events, such as whether they did (or didn\u2019t) complete an order on your online store <\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>HubSpot supports a huge range of triggers, which are all explained in this <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.hubspot.com\/workflows\/set-your-workflow-enrollment-triggers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">guide to enrolment triggers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll need to let HubSpot know which form you\u2019re adding the workflow to, and which webpage it\u2019s on. Let\u2019s say, in this case, the registration form appears on all pages of your site; you&#8217;d choose the <strong>any page<\/strong> option in HubSpot.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also tailor actions based on when a form was submitted, by setting specific dates or times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, perhaps there\u2019s a closing date for an offer or free trial. This tells HubSpot to change your recent form-filling friend from a Contact to a Deal. The person enters the Deal pipeline for your Sales team to follow up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Go from single-step to multi-step workflows<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to add additional steps to a workflow? No problem. Let\u2019s assume your customer has registered their details, and their record has been updated in your CRM. You want to send a message to let the customer know their query was received.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ve got a ready-to-go email template that\u2019s perfect for the job. You can personalise it using the customer\u2019s first name and other info, by using <strong>contact token<\/strong> properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also choose to send from an\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/support.messagemedia.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4413576822415-Alpha-Tags\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>alpha tag<\/strong><\/a>\u202fif you\u2019re sending SMS to Australia or the UK. Once approved, the alpha tag will appear at the top of the message, where the phone number normally is.
